This course provides an introductory overview of the iGaming industry in four units:<\/p>\n

Understanding iGaming
\n<\/strong>A basic introduction to the industry outlining its history, features, issues and trends as well as company types and products, and the roles and responsibilities of various employee functions within a typical iGaming operation.<\/p>\n

Online Sportsbook Management & Online Casino Management
\n<\/strong>Each unit takes an in-depth look at one of the industry\u2019s major product areas. It provides an overview of the specific products, the challenges they present and how they are managed and marketed on a day-to-day basis.<\/p>\n

iGaming Compliance
\n<\/strong>An introduction to iGaming\u2019s main legal and regulatory subject matter; Anti-Money Laundering, Responsible Gambling and General Data Protection. The unit covers basic Information Security Compliance, provides a brief overview of the areas requiring Technical Compliance and introduces Marketing Compliance in its various forms.<\/p>\n

Award in iGaming is a fully accredited MQF Level 4 course, offering an industry-recognised certificate of completion<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Credits Awarded<\/h4>\n

4 MQF Level 4 credits on successful completion. You will need to attend a minimum of 80% of the lectures to complete the course.<\/p>\n

\n

Assessment Type<\/h4>\n

A multiple-choice assessment is to be completed after the 4 units. Students are also expected to submit a written assignment after the course. All the assessment will be in English.<\/p>\n

\n

Admission\u00a0Requirements<\/h4>\n

You need to be a minimum of 18 years of age to register for this course, be proficient in English and have a school leaving certificate.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Holders of Non-Maltese qualifications are kindly asked to present a scan of the qualification (certificate and transcript \/ Diploma supplement as may be required) together with the MQRIC<\/a><\/strong><\/em> recognition document.<\/p>\n

English proficiency is to be evidenced through the presentation of any of the following Certificates: CEFR B1, IELTS score 4.5, Cambridge English Preliminary: PET, Pearson Academic PTE General Level 2: 43-58, and TOEFL: iBT 57-86.<\/p>\n

OR<\/p>\n

Should the qualification achieved from the particular Education Institution has been delivered and assessed in the English Language, a signed declaration to this effect is to be presented on the Institution\u2019s (school \/ College \/ University) letter headed stationery.<\/p>\n

Should you not be able to provide the requested documents, you can still attend the course, however, you will not receive the MQF Level 4 diploma but a certificate of completion.<\/strong><\/p>\n
